the study of stripey rain boots

9 Nov

Western Chief striped rain boots in navy and white.  The leaves have fallen and are covered in slush, instead of tromping around in suede or peep-toes, I decided to don these delightful stripey boots with purple tights.  This particular striped boot is no longer available, but I have been lusting over some of her cousins, specifically the ones in black and white houndstooth, or the retro floral print.  Really, it would only make sense to branch out in the rain boot department, right?  (Of course right!) (Nevermind that I live in the middle of the desert.) (Hey, we get snow here!  That’s wet and rain boot worthy!) (/end extraneous parantheticals.)

    I love those boots.

I have several pairs of fun & funky wellies to tromp around in.

I find it highly amusing to take the field at a dog competition with a police dog in training while wearing pink polka-dot wellies.

My biggest problem is finding fun ones in size 3.5 or 4 for my stupidly small feet.

I was just daydreaming about rain boots yesterday as I sloshed through the puddles. It’s too bad they don’t sell these anymore but the alternatives are amazing too. I think I’ll have to invest in a pair. Thanks Heidi!

I totally dig the boots. But I feel that I see the floral print ones too often. Love the Navy stripes though!
